The Foundation - a dream to achieve

The first and second Bali bombings had a profound effect of the Foundation, because the consequent economic plunge drove business into bankruptcy and even led some to commit suicide. The need of the Foundation has thus become more urgent. Rosalina already participates in training volunteers for CASA (Committee Against Sexual Abused) in regencies of Karangasem, Singaraja, Denpasar through a help-line for those suffering from domestic violence. She is also active in agencies helping female and child victims of trafficking and abuse. Now, in addition to the micro finance activities the foundation also envisions as establishment that includes a vocational training centre, a shelter for the victims and survivors of domestic violence, as well as a health clinic providing health care health officers of the same sex, to ensure more privacy to the group as many of these victims need special treatment after suffering a traumatic event.

The Better Future Foundation will never succumb to oft-help opinion that poverty is inevitable. We believe passionately than the less fortunate can be helped to gain independence through sustainable enterprise. Please join in supporting our children, women, the disabled and the less fortunate.
