Rosalina Norita, the Founder

Rosalina was born in Surabaya and grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. From her earliest age, she was influenced by the example of her parents, whose care and concern for the less fortunate instilled in her a social conscience. This led Rosalina Norita to get involved in social action while still a young student.

She was always involved in those school activities with social implications. She helped organize programs to help the families of scavengers. She organized the donation books to their children to help further their education and also found ways of supporting those who could not otherwise afford an education. These activities carried over into her University years, and she was always to be found participating in extra curriculum activities organized for the benefit of women and children.
